Your ticket is entry, and tickets bought by 10 November 2026 also carry one courtesy drink for each day of entry. A non alcoholic drink is always available; any alcoholic option depends on the special licence and is for guests 18 and over with photo ID only. Kids under 5 are free with their own free ticket.
Taste the pies
Pie tokens are the pies. $7.50 each, one token gets you one signature pie at any bakery stall.
Crown the winner
Every ticket gets a vote. You crown the People's Pie, the People's Choice winner.

One day from $19.90, or all three days for $59.70. Under 5s are free with their own ticket.
A card service fee is added when you pay by card. It covers what the bank charges us to take your payment, and you see the exact amount before you pay.
Bringing the workplace? Friday 15 January is made for a team afternoon on the waterfront. For ten or more tickets on one invoice, write to office@nzpiefest.co.nz and we sort it directly.

How would you like to pay?
We use your name and email to issue your tickets, and we share limited technical data with Meta Platforms to measure our advertising. If you start a purchase and do not finish it, we send at most one reminder email about your basket. Details and choices in the privacy policy.
Prices include GST. A card service fee is added at checkout, it covers what the bank charges us to take your payment, and it is shown before you pay. Online payment is by card and your tickets are emailed to you straight away. If bank transfer is offered at checkout, your tickets are emailed the moment the payment lands. Full refund of everything you paid, including the card service fee, if the festival is cancelled. Pie tokens and vendor specials are otherwise final sale and non refundable. One day entry is also available at the gate for $27, so buying online always costs you less. The 3 Day Pass is online only. Your pie tokens are loaded onto your ticket QR, one QR for everything. Cash is accepted only at the festival office on site, which can load pie tokens onto your ticket QR the same way.
