Signature pies NZ$7.50 a token, bought separately. Tokens sit on the same QR as your ticket, so there is nothing extra to carry. Full line up revealed 10 November.

Cast your vote for Wellington's best pie. The People's Pie crown is decided by you, and the winning bakery takes the bragging rights home.
New Zealand will queue in the rain for a good pie, argue about who does the best one, and drive across town to prove it. Nobody had put all of that in one place for a weekend, so we did. NZ Pie Fest is the first edition of something we plan to take city by city, and it starts in Wellington this January.

NZ Pie Fest is built by Rimu and Harbour Limited, a Wellington events company, and launches at the Walter Nash Centre in Taita, Lower Hutt, in January 2027.
The festival is led on the ground in New Zealand and built to grow city by city, New Zealand first, then further afield.
Early bird tickets are $19.90 online until 10 November 2026, then $25 online, or $27 at the gate. Your People's Pie vote is included, and one courtesy drink for each day of entry on tickets bought by 10 November 2026.
